    Verb 決して + Vない/Vません
    い-adj 決して + い-adj [い] + くない
    な-adj 決して + な-adj [だ] + ではない
    N 決して + N + ではない

    Grammar rule (व्याकरण नियम र परिभाषा)

    Meaning

    • 「決して〜ない」expresses a strong denial or resolve: 「決して忘れません」= I will never forget.
    • It carries "no matter what", so it is common in promises, warnings and rules: 「決してさわらないでください」= never touch this.

    How to attach

「絶対に〜ない」is the spoken equivalent; 決して is more written and serious.

    Watch out

決して always demands a negative — 決して + positive is wrong.
