Group 1 (u-verbs) has one rule. Start from the ます form. The sound before ます is always an i-sound — き、み、し、ち. Change it to the o-sound of the same row — き→こ、み→も、し→そ、ち→と. Then add う. 行きます → 行き → 行こ → 行こう. 飲みます → 飲み → 飲も → 飲もう. Careful: the ending is う, not よう — よう belongs to Group 2. The form that comes out is not polite, so use it only with a friend.
