〜らしいです (~rashii desu) — Apparently / seems like
Saying something you picked up somewhere but are not sure about — "apparently".
Formula (सूत्र ढाँचा)
Grammar rule (व्याकरण नियम र परिभाषा)
「〜らしいです」also reports something you heard, but with less commitment than そうです — the source is further away, it feels like word going around, and the speaker takes no responsibility for it. How to attach it: put らしいです straight onto the plain form of a verb or an い-adjective (やめる → やめるらしいです, 高い → 高いらしいです). With な-adjectives and nouns the だ drops (元気だ → 元気らしいです, 病気だ → 病気らしいです). It has a second job too: noun + らしい means "having the real qualities of that thing" — 春らしい 天気 (properly spring-like weather), 男らしい 人. It is not in Minna no Nihongo at all, but Japanese people use it every day. Which to pick? Use そうです when you know the source and are passing it on as it came; use らしいです when you are not sure where you heard it and it is more like word going around.
Examples (उदाहरणहरू)

Knowledge check (मिनी ज्ञान जाँच)
Question: 1/3Which is correct for 「元気だ」+ らしいです?
💡 Hint: The だ of a な-adjective does not stay before らしい.
The だ drops: 元気 + らしいです. This differs from ようです (元気なようです).
Which correctly says "properly spring-like weather"?
💡 Hint: らしい attaches to the noun with nothing in between.
春 + らしい = having the real qualities of spring. This is not a guess.
You are not sure where you heard it — it is more like word going around. Which sentence carries that feeling?
💡 Hint: When you know the source and pass it on as it came, it is そうです.
With らしいです the speaker keeps a distance — heard it, but takes no responsibility. With そうです the source is definite, with ようです you saw the evidence yourself, and やめます simply states it as a fact.
