Meaning
- たら for adjectives and nouns follows the same "past form + ら" logic.
- One formula: plain past + ら.
How to attach
- い-adjective: ら on the かった of Lesson 12 — 安い ──> 安かった ──> 安かったら (if it is cheap).
- な-adjective and noun: ら on the だった of Lesson 20 — 暇 ──> 暇だった ──> 暇だったら (if I am free), 雨 ──> 雨だった ──> 雨だったら (if it rains).
Watch out
trap: な-adjectiveきれい／ゆうめい／しんせつ ➔ だったら (きれかったら ❌).
