〜を抜きにしては…ない (~o nuki ni shite wa … nai) — without ~, … is impossible

Without that it simply cannot happen — 「先輩の助けを抜きにしては、終わらなかった」(without my senior's help it would never have been finished).

When to use it

This form shows how much someone's help or guidance matters, and it is common in the exam: 「田中さんを抜きにしては、この計画は進められない」.

Meaning

「〜を抜きにしては…ない」= without that, … simply cannot happen.
Before it comes something the speaker values highly (someone's help, guidance).
After it always comes a negative 'not possible': 〜られない・無理だ・成り立たない.

Versus what you know

「N抜きで」(わさび抜きで) = with that taken out, without it — an order or an action follows.
「を抜きにしては」says 'impossible without it' to show how much that thing matters.

Watch out

Make it positive, 「を抜きにしては、成功できた」, and it is wrong.
