なぜなら〜からだ (nazenara ~kara da) — because (the reason is)
Claim first, then "the reason is…" — how essays give reasons.
Formula (सूत्र ढाँचा)
Grammar rule (व्याकरण नियम र परिभाषा)
When to use it
Essays and presentations cannot do without this.
Meaning
In writing you usually state the claim first and give the reason in a separate sentence — that sentence opens with 「なぜなら」and closes with 「〜からだ」: 「日本語を勉強している。なぜなら、日本で働きたいからだ」= I'm studying Japanese. The reason is that I want to work in Japan.
How to attach
- It is a pair — なぜなら demands からだ/からです at the end.
- 「なぜかというと」and 「どうしてかというと」are the same, a little more spoken.
Versus what you know
N5「〜から」put the reason first (「暑いから、窓を開ける」).
