One kanji, two readings, two meanings — "during the meeting" and "all day long".

「中」after a noun gives two meanings with two readings.
「〜中（ちゅう）」= "in the middle of, during": 「会議中」= in a meeting, 「営業中」= open for business, 「使用中」= in use.
You see it on doors and signs.
「〜中（じゅう）」= "throughout, all over" — for time and place: 「一日中」= all day, 「世界中」= all over the world, 「部屋中」= all over the room.

The reading is fixed per word; the rule of thumb — "ongoing" is ちゅう, "throughout" is じゅう.
