〜のは N です (~ no wa N desu) — Emphasising one part of a sentence
Move the part you want to stress to the end of the sentence.
Formula (सूत्र ढाँचा)
Grammar rule (व्याकरण नियम र परिभाषा)
To stress one thing, split the sentence in two: move the stressed word in front of です and pack the rest into 「〜のは」. 私は ネパールで 生まれました → 私が 生まれたのは ネパールです. Inside the のは part, the subject は becomes が (私は → 私が). Tense sits on the verb inside, while です stays in the present — 会ったのは 去年です. You can stress a place, a time, a person or a thing. It gives the feeling of "the one that ~ is this one".
Examples (उदाहरणहरू)

watashi ga umareta no wa nepaaru desu.

Knowledge check (मिनी ज्ञान जाँच)
Question: 1/3How do you stress ネパール in 「私は ネパールで 生まれました」?
💡 Hint: The stressed word goes in front of です.
ネパール moves to the end, the rest goes inside 生まれたのは, and 私は becomes 私が.
Inside 「〜のは」, the subject は changes to which particle?
💡 Hint: 私は → 私□ 生まれた.
は cannot stay inside; the subject takes が — 私が 生まれたのは.
Which sentence puts the stress on 去年 — "it was last year that I came to Japan"?
💡 Hint: The stressed word goes before です, and the rest goes inside のは.
To stress 去年, it goes at the end as 去年です and the rest goes inside 私が 日本へ 来たのは. The inner subject takes が, not は. 「来たのは 日本です」stresses 日本, not 去年.
