When you talk about what you like or are good at, it is が, not は.

Meaning
- 好き・嫌い・上手・下手 talk about what you like or how skilled you are, and that thing is marked with が.
- So with a verb you get 「V dictionary form + のが」— 歌を 歌うのが 好きです, 料理を 作るのが 上手です.
How to attach
The object inside still takes を, so one sentence can hold both を and のが.
Watch out
- It must be のが here, not のは.
- Use 上手です and 下手です about other people; about yourself it sounds boastful, so say 好きです or あまり 上手じゃ ありません instead.
