数量 + も (suuryou + mo) — As much as! (emphasis on quantity)
も after a number adds the surprise of "that many!".
Formula (सूत्र ढाँचा)
Grammar rule (व्याकरण नियम र परिभाषा)
Putting も after a number or amount adds the emphasis "that much!" — the speaker finds the number larger than expected. 十時間 働きました is just a fact; 十時間も 働きました carries "a full ten hours!". も attaches right after the amount: ビールを 五本 飲みました → ビールを 五本も 飲みました. For the opposite feeling — "only that little" — you use しか or は instead.
Examples (उदाहरणहरू)

kinou wa juujikan mo hatarakimashita.
Yesterday I worked a full ten hours.
この 本を 三回も 読みました。
kono hon o sankai mo yomimashita.

パーティーに 五十人も 来ました。
paatii ni gojuunin mo kimashita.
As many as fifty people came to the party.

Question: 1/3Which sentence carries the feeling "I waited a full three hours — that was long!"?
💡 Hint: も after a number adds the emphasis "that much!".
三時間 待ちました is just a fact. Adding も shows the speaker found it long. しか gives the opposite — "only three hours".
Which one emphasises "three times — as many as that!"?
💡 Hint: も always goes right after the number or amount.
三回も = "three whole times!". 本も instead means "this book too" — the emphasis no longer lands on the number.
Which correctly says "as many as fifty people came"?
💡 Hint: も goes with a positive verb.
五十人も 来ました. しか would need a negative verb and would mean "only".
