数量 + で (suuryou + de) — Within / for that amount
The で that tells you in how much time, or for how much money, something gets done.
Formula (सूत्र ढाँचा)
Grammar rule (व्याकरण नियम र परिभाषा)
Put で after an amount (time, money, a number) and it means "within that" or "for that" — 三日で できます (it can be done in three days), 千円で 買えます (you can buy it for a thousand yen). Do not mix this で up with the で of place: in 会社で 働きます the で marks where, but in 三日で the で marks a limit. Do not use に either — 三日に できます is wrong, because に marks a fixed point in time (三時に), not a limit. At work you need this form every day for talking about time and price. 全部で (in total) comes from the same pattern.

Question: 1/3Which says "this job can be done in three days"?
💡 Hint: Which particle marks a limit?
で goes after an amount. に marks a fixed point in time, not a limit.
「この 本は 千円 買えます」— what goes in the blank?
💡 Hint: A price is an amount too.
千円で 買えます = you can buy it for a thousand yen.
In which sentence does で mark a limit — "within that / for that much"?
💡 Hint: Look for the one with an amount — time, money, a number — before で.
三日 is an amount, so 三日で marks a limit. In 会社で the で marks a place, in バスで the means of travel, and in 病気で the reason — the same letter で, but a different job.
