「どの」 is always followed by a noun and means "which ___?" (choosing among three or more). It is the question form of the kono/sono/ano family. 「どれ」 stands alone (no noun), but 「どの」 needs a noun.

Examples (उदाहरणहरू)

どのかばんあなたのですか

どの かばんが あなたのですか。

dono kaban ga anata no desu ka.

Which bag is yours?

どの 人が 先生ですか。

dono hito ga sensei desu ka.

Which person is the teacher?

どの 電車が 駅へ 行きますか。

dono densha ga eki e ikimasu ka.

Which train goes to the station?
