When to use it
If someone says 食べませんか (won't you eat?), answer ええ、食べましょう (yes, let's eat) — this pair always goes together.
Meaning
- To suggest doing something together — "let's …" — or to accept an invitation, use ましょう.
- ここで休みましょう = Let's rest here.
How to attach
Remove ます and add ましょう: 行きます ──> 行き ──> 行きましょう (let's go).
