Grammar rule (व्याकरण नियम र परिभाषा)

The particle を marks the object — the thing the verb acts on. It is written を but pronounced simply "o", never "wo".

Examples (उदाहरणहरू)

パン食べます

パンを食べます。

pan o tabemasu.

I eat bread.

飲みます

水を飲みます。

mizu o nomimasu.

I drink water.

読みます

本を読みます。

hon o yomimasu.

I read a book.
