An い-adjective ends in い — for example 高い (takai, expensive), おいしい (oishii, tasty), 新しい (atarashii, new). Use the pattern 「Nは ～いです」to say what something is like. Keep the final い and just add です after it — the い never drops. Example: このラーメンはおいしいです (kono raamen wa oishii desu) = "This ramen is tasty."
