Grammar rule (व्याकरण नियम र परिभाषा)

A な-adjective — for example 元気 (genki, well/energetic), しずか (shizuka, quiet), きれい (kirei, pretty/clean), ゆうめい (yuumei, famous) — behaves like a noun. At the end of a sentence use 「Nは [na-adjective]です」with no な; です attaches directly. Example: あの人はゆうめいです (ano hito wa yuumei desu) = "That person is famous." Note: きれい looks like an い-adjective but is actually a な-adjective.
