Formula (सूत्र ढाँचा)

文１。 + なお、 + 文２（追加の情報）。

Letters from the 市役所, notices from the 店長, explanations at a meeting — when you add further information at the end, after the main point.

「なお」= 'note that' — adds further information after the main point is done: 「説明は以上です。なお、詳細はプリントをご覧ください」.
What it adds need not even be related to the previous sentence.

It starts the sentence, with a 「、」after it

N3「ただし」also adds something, but it is a condition or exception; なお adds a separate piece of information.
「ちなみに」also adds information and works in conversation too; なお is 硬 — for notices and speeches.

Say 「なお」to a friend and you sound like a TV announcer.

面接は10時からです。なお、履歴書は当日お持ちください。

めんせつは10じからです。なお、りれきしょはとうじつおもちください。

The interview starts at 10. Note that you should bring your résumé on the day of the interview.

How it is built (कसरी बन्यो) 面接は10時から = the main notice → 「なお」 = also (a word used in written notices) → extra information: 履歴書をお持ちください.
