〜んです (~n desu) — Explaining a reason or situation
Not just stating a fact — adding the "why" or the background behind it.
Formula (सूत्र ढाँचा)
Grammar rule (व्याकरण नियम र परिभाषा)
「〜んです」turns a sentence into an explanation of a reason or a situation. A plain sentence just states a fact; 〜んです adds the feeling of "the thing is…". How to attach it: put んです straight onto the plain form of a verb or an い-adjective (行く → 行くんです, 痛い → 痛いんです). For な-adjectives and nouns you need な in between (元気だ → 元気なんです, 休みだ → 休みなんです). As a question, 〜んですか shows interest — "what happened?". In speech it is 〜んです; in writing, 〜のです.
