「〜て いただけませんか」is the politest way to ask for something. It comes from いただく, the humble form of もらう, and the negative question 〜ませんか softens it further. The politeness ladder runs: 〜てください (normal) < 〜て くださいませんか < 〜て いただけませんか (most polite). At work, use this one with a boss, a customer, or a stranger. With a friend it sounds too heavy.
