〜て いきます / 〜て きます (~te ikimasu / ~te kimasu) — Direction — away or toward

Showing whether the action moves away from me or comes toward me.

Formula (सूत्र ढाँचा)

V て-form the action
+ いきます away from here
+ きます toward here
〜て きました up to now

Grammar rule (व्याकरण नियम र परिभाषा)

〜て いきます and 〜て きます show which way the action moves. In space: 持って いきます = take it away from here, 持って きます = bring it here. It works the same for people — 連れて いきます (take someone along) / 連れて きます (bring someone here). The same direction works in time: 増えて いきます = it will keep increasing from now on, 増えて きました = it has been increasing up to now. An easy way to remember it — いく = away from me or into the future; くる = toward me or up to now. These two are usually written in hiragana. Which to pick? If the point is going and coming back here, use 〜て 来ます from the previous point; if there is no coming back and you only want to show direction or time, use this one.
