V ます-form + 方(かた) (V-masu-stem + kata) — The way to do it
The way of doing something — the "how do I do this?" part.
Formula (सूत्र ढाँचा)
Grammar rule (व्याकरण नियम र परिभाषा)
「〜方」means the way of doing something. Drop ます from the verb and add 方 — 使います → 使い方, 書きます → 書き方, 行きます → 行き方. It is the same attachment point as the first and second points. Once attached it is a noun, so it takes が / を / は: 使い方が わかりません, 書き方を 教えて ください. The trap: a verb that normally takes を switches to の in front of 方 — 漢字を 書きます, but 漢字の 書き方. And for します the word is 仕方(しかた), not し方: 料理の 仕方.

Question: 1/3How do you make "the way to read" from 「読みます」?
💡 Hint: Add 方 to what is left after ます is dropped.
読みます → 読み + 方 = 読み方 (yomikata).
「漢字 書き方」— what goes in the blank?
💡 Hint: 方 is a noun — which particle joins two nouns?
It is 漢字を 書きます, but in front of 方 the を becomes の: 漢字の 書き方.
Which says "I do not know how to use this machine"?
💡 Hint: 使い方 = the way to use it, and a noun in front of it needs の.
使い方が わかりません = I do not know the method — an everyday sentence at work. 使いにくいです would mean "it is hard to use", a different meaning.
