When to use it
It is a very useful way to start a conversation.
Meaning
- To ask about someone’s habit, pair a frequency word with 〜んですか.
- よく この 店に 来るんですか = "Do you often come to this shop?"
- Here 〜んですか shows more interest than a plain question — it sounds warmer than 来ますか.
How to attach
Frequency words: よく (often), ときどき (sometimes), あまり〜ない (not much), ぜんぜん〜ない (never).

The answer is ええ、よく 来ます or いいえ、あまり 来ません.
