To ask about someone’s habit, pair a frequency word with 〜んですか. Frequency words: よく (often), ときどき (sometimes), あまり〜ない (not much), ぜんぜん〜ない (never). よく この 店に 来るんですか = "Do you often come to this shop?" Here 〜んですか shows more interest than a plain question — it sounds warmer than 来ますか. It is a very useful way to start a conversation. The answer is ええ、よく 来ます or いいえ、あまり 来ません.
