How to attach it: put でしょう straight onto the plain form (普通形) of a verb or an い-adjective — 降る → 降るでしょう, 高い → 高いでしょう, 来ない → 来ないでしょう. For な-adjectives and nouns, drop the final だ — 大変だ → 大変でしょう, 雨だ → 雨でしょう. Never write だでしょう. Watch the intonation: said with a falling tone, でしょう。means "probably". Said with a rising tone, でしょう？ asks the listener to agree — "right?" — as in 田中さんは 学生でしょう？. You hear this form a lot in weather reports.
