When to use it
"Which do you like, tea or coffee?" — when you ask which of two things.
Meaning
To ask which of two things, use どちら.
How to attach
Join both with と (N1とN2と — keep the second と too), then どちらが Adj ですか: おちゃとコーヒーとどちらがすきですか.
Watch out
- After どちら it is が ✅, not は — question words always take が.
- For two things どちら; for three or more, どれ／なに (a later topic).
