「でしょう」(deshou) is the tentative form of 「です」. It has two uses, told apart by intonation: (1) with falling tone it means "probably ~" — 明日は雨でしょう. (2) with rising tone 「でしょう?」it asks for confirmation, "~ right?" — おいしいでしょう?. After a noun or na-adjective, drop だ and add でしょう directly.
