Verb V普通形 + と思います

い-adj い-adj (〜い) + と思います

な-adj な-adj + だ + と思います

N N + だ + と思います

"I think it will rain tomorrow" — to give your opinion or guess, end the sentence with と思います.
と = "that / quoting", 思います = "I think"; literally "I think that …".

Right before と always comes the plain form from Lesson 20: 来る ──> 来ると思います, 高い ──> 高いと思います.
Nouns and な-adjectives need だ: 雨 ──> 雨だと思います.
Nepali "पानी पर्छ जस्तो लाग्छ" keeps "पर्छ" plain too — exactly the same.

One firm rule: never です／ます before と (来ますと ❌, 高いですと ❌).

明日は雨だと思います。

あしたはあめだとおもいます。

I think it will rain tomorrow.
