Grammar rule (व्याकरण नियम र परिभाषा)

The particle で marks the means or method of an action. Placing で after a vehicle says how you travel. For example 電車で行きます = "I go by train." Here で works like "by/via." The direction へ and the means で are different — both can appear in one sentence.

Examples (उदाहरणहरू)

電車行きます

電車で行きます。

densha de ikimasu.

I go by train.

バス学校行きます

バスで学校へ行きます。

basu de gakkou e ikimasu.

I go to school by bus.

タクシー帰ります

タクシーで帰ります。

takushii de kaerimasu.

I return by taxi.
