When to use it

The most useful question when learning new words: "What is this in Japanese?" = これは日本語で何ですか.

Meaning

Structure: language + で (the "in / by means of" で above) + 何ですか (what is it?).

How to attach

Adding 語 (ご) makes a language name — 日本語, ネパール語, えいご.
You can also quote a word: 「ありがとう」はネパール語で何ですか (What is 「ありがとう」in Nepali?).
Answer: 「धन्यवाद」です.
