Cause & Reason
- 1 V て-form / い-adj 〜くて / な-adj 〜で、〜 V-te / i-adj ~kute / na-adj ~de, ~ Cause with the て form The first half is the cause; the second half is the feeling or result it brought.
- 2 N で N de Because of N Illness, an accident, a typhoon — the short way to give the cause as a single noun.
- 3 〜ので、〜 ~node, ~ Because (soft and polite) The same "because" as から, but softer — this is the safe one with a boss or a customer.
- 4 途中で tochuu de On the way / partway through Something else happened while you were on your way, or partway through a task.
