「N でも」puts forward one example to make a soft suggestion — "N or something," hinting that it need not be exactly N. It's often used with an invitation (〜ませんか) or proposal (〜ましょう): おちゃでも飲みませんか (Shall we have some tea or something?). Here 「でも」replaces particles like を/が.
