When to use it
It is very handy when looking for a place: トイレはあそこですか (The toilet is over there, right?), コンビニはえきの近くですか (Is the convenience store near the station?).
Meaning
The か of Lesson 1 again, this time to confirm — "…, right?".
How to attach
- The sentence stays as it is; only か is added at the end.
- Answer: はい、そうです (yes) or いいえ、ちがいます (no).
