〜ですか (पुष्टि) (~ desu ka) — confirming (…, right?)

To confirm or check whether something is true, add か at the end of the sentence — especially handy when asking about places. e.g. トイレは あそこですか (toire wa asoko desu ka) = 'The toilet is over there, right?' No question mark is needed — か itself marks the question.
