とき & と Conditional
- 1 〜とき（動詞） ~ toki (verbs) when ~ (with verbs) Saying at what time an action happens.
- 2 〜とき（形容詞・名詞） ~ toki (adjectives & nouns) when ~ (with adjectives & nouns) ‘When’ for a state or status.
- 3 〜と ~ to (conditional) when / whenever (natural result) One thing always leads to another.
- 4 場所を（いどう） place + o (motion) through / along / out of (a place) を marking the space you move through.
- 5 〜が（文の中） ~ ga (inside a clause) subject が inside a clause The doer inside a clause takes が.
