Time & Daily Schedule
- 1 〜時〜分です -ji -fun desu telling the time The basic pattern for telling clock time.
- 2 〜ます -masu polite present/future affirmative The polite form for actions you do (now or in the future).
- 3 〜ません -masen polite present/future negative The polite way to say you do not do something.
- 4 〜ました -mashita polite past affirmative The polite way to say you did something.
- 5 〜ませんでした -masen deshita polite past negative The polite way to say you did not do something.
- 6 時間に V jikan ni V do something at (time) The に that pins an action to an exact time or day — but not every time word takes it.
- 7 N1からN2まで N1 kara N2 made from N1 to N2 The pair that marks a start and an end — of time or place.
- 8 N1とN2 N1 to N2 N1 and N2 Joining two or more nouns with "and."
